Q1: Do you favor establishing a family and medical leave insurance program for Washington, funded through payroll premiums (estimated to total $3.00 per week for a typical worker)?
Yes.
Q2: Will you prioritize passing family and medical leave insurance in 2017?
Yes, I will sponsor, co-sponsor and support a bill supporting answer 1.
Q3: Optional additional statement:
My position is that education begins the day before maternity leave ends. Education is multilingual, multicultural, multi nutritious and totally immersive. Before the age of six, a child will learn as many languages, including math and much, and have a knowledge and appreciation of many cultures. We have more than seventy languages spoken in the 37th.
